Think of the new Volvo XC90 SE Sport as the Bjorn Borg of the Swedish firm's range. It's all tight shorts and rough 'n' ready image, but at heart it's a very well-mannered chap.
But now Volvo has given the Sport a bit of the Rafael Nadal treatment. The off-roader has been ordered to spend a few hours down the gym and fill up on the protein shakes, because it's looking meaner and more muscular than before.
The alloy wheels have swelled to 19 inches and there are twin pipes, while strategic trimming has done away with the standard roof rails.
Inside, the SE Sport has unique black and white leather sports seats, a chunkier steering wheel and chronograph-style instruments.
Available with the usual diesel and petrol engines, the SE Sport will set you back between £37,270 and £45,950.
