'More power' is music to our ears, although this announcement from Mercedes is more like a pleasing ditty than a full-blown West End production.
Anyway, the chaps at Mercedes are singing from our song sheet and have fitted a more powerful engine in the CLK200 Kompressor Coupe and Cabriolet models.
It's up 21bhp on the old motor's gargling 163bhp to a sweeter-sounding 184bhp, while torque gains a deeper voice with 184lb ft.
That all adds up to 0-62mph in 8.8 seconds, instead of the old version's 9.3, and a top speed that now reaches 147mph.
If this sounds like it's for you, you'll need to find cash to the tune of £29,910 for the Coupe and £33,510 for the Cabriolet.
