The Cupra boasting a top speed of 153mph and the ability to knock off 0-60mph in just 6.4 seconds.It just doesn't feel as engaging and lively as its cousin, the brilliant Golf GTi. It may be quick and loud(ish), but The Cupra's a bit of a county bumpkin beside the slick and sophisticated Golf.
However, the price might help to make up for these shortcomings.
Seat says the Leon will cost £19,595, which is £765 less than the cheapest Golf GTi and £1265 less than GTi five-door.
That definitely makes the Leon Cupra a more appealing prospect, but we'll still take the Golf, thanks.
