Ford has chosen the land of the bambino to unveil its revised C-Max.
Lucky showgoers to the Bologna motor show, which runs from December 7-17, will see the facelifted MPV.
Revisions are mostly skin deep and give the C-Max a look similar to its larger S-Max sister.
There are changes to the interior to provide a new dash, and those flat expanses of plastic on the doors have also come in for attention.
Ford says a new Z-shaped handbrake lever frees up more space, and a new panoramic sunroof should give the cabin a more airy feel.
We'll have to wait until the summer of 2007 before the revised C-Max hits UK roads. However, it's likely that Ford will also unveil its four-wheel-drive C-Max around that time.
It's expected to be called the Cross-Max and will have a raised ride height and part-time four-wheel drive. Ford insiders say it will also feature butch plastic exterior panels to give more of an SUV feel.
