Chevrolet on Monday took some of the wraps off its 2008 Malibu, preceding its formal unveiling at the upcoming North American International Auto Show, with an on-sale date slated for summer 2007.
The photo shows off a dual-port grille on the new Malibu that GM says represents "the new face of Chevrolet." The car has a 6-inch-longer wheelbase than the current model, with a more upscale look. The car will be offered in four-cylinder or six-cylinder variants and come in front-wheel-drive configuration only.GM said it will invest $208 million in its Fairfax, Kansas, plant to prepare for Malibu production.
