The AS7-R boasts a supercharged 4.2-liter V8 that delivers 500 horsepower. The 0-60-mph run takes less than 5.9 seconds, and top speed clocks in at 162 mph.The slightly more sedate AS7 features a 3.0-liter TDI engine, with output hiked to 272 hp and torque bumped to 406 pound-feet.
The AS7-R aero body kit includes a front lip spoiler and fender extensions, painted in matte chrome. Other body parts are done in matte black. Abt 22-inch wheels add just the right stance.
Inside, the vehicle has leather upholstery, plus a multimedia system developed with Alpine. The rear-seat entertainment system includes a DVD changer, an Apple iPod and a Sony Playstation 2.
