Two's company, three's a fantasy that never turns out to be quite as fun as expected. So goes the old maxim. But Honda clearly disagrees, as the Japanese giant has announced a facelift of its FR-V - the compact SUV with two rows of three seats.
From early next year, the FR-V will be available with Honda's 1.8-litre i-VTEC unit - the same engine found in the new 5-door Civic.
They've also done a Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on the interior and exterior. There are new fabrics and fascia panels, as well as a chromed grill and tweaked headlights.
