DaimlerChrysler announced this week that it will introduce the Jeep Grand Cherokee Predator and Cherokee Predator in the United Kingdom by the end of January. A Jeep spokesperson told Inside Line there are no plans to offer the special-edition vehicles in the U.S., though.
Officials said the Jeep Grand Cherokee Predator is based on the Limited model and features rear park assist, leather-trimmed seats and steering wheel, heated memory seats, power-folding mirrors, chrome grille, tire-pressure monitor, rain-sensitive wipers, a premium sound system, and steering-wheel audio controls as standard. It can be outfitted with a 3.0-liter CRD engine or a 4.7-liter V8 engine. The Grand Cherokee Predator is priced at the equivalent of $52,824.
The Jeep Cherokee Predator features a 2.4-liter engine and starts at the equivalent of $28,178. It is based on the Sport model and features 16-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, a single CD player and privacy glass.
