Audi has focused on what it calls the cars' classic performance characteristics – more output and less weight. The 1.8-litre turbo engine has been uprated from 162 to 176kW with a 20Nm increase in torque to a claimed peak of 320Nm available lower in the rev range - from 2300-5000rpm.
Audi says: "The TT quattro Sport is the purest interpretation yet of sports car philosophy in the TT.
"It represents a blend of pioneering technology and pure driving enjoyment."
