TOKYO — Mugen, the Japanese motorsports and performance-parts specialist owned by family scion Hirotoshi Honda, has put together a home-market package of goodies for the redesigned 2007 CR-V that provide a little more differentiation for this largely generic grocery getter.
Mugen's aero body kit features such pieces as a front spoiler, a rear spoiler (with cutouts for center-mounted twin exhaust tips) and a roof-mounted rear wing. Additional exterior mods include a sport grille, foglamps, 19-inch alloy wheels and a choice of six colors. CR-V owners also can order a performance muffler system with dual exhaust and a sport pedal set.Stay tuned for the SEMA extravaganza in early November to see how many of these pieces make it to the States.
