Volvo is putting the sport into its sports utility vehicle with a new model for the XC90 range.
The SE Sport features firmer suspension and steering tuned for improved response, and Volvo tells us these tweaks were developed on UK roads.
The new SE Sport is available with both the 3.2-litre six-cylinder and 4.4 V8 petrol engines and the D5 turbodiesel unit.
To distinguish the SE Sport from the rest of the range, the new model comes with 19in alloy wheels and front seats with a more contoured shape to hold you in place.
Prices start at £37,270 for the D5, and the car goes on sale just after its debut at the British motor show on July 20-30.
