The new Alfa Spider is based on the Brera coupe and goes on sale in the UK at the beginning of 2007.The other star of Alfa's Goodwood display is the 8C Spider concept, which the Italian firm says is merely a design exercise at the moment.
However, Alfa insiders tell us the 8C Spider will join the 8C coupe as a limited production model sometime in 2008.
Alfa also has a full complement of historic road and race cars on hand to wow the crowds.
