Fabien Cacheux unveils the exclusive Elephant Tourbillon timepiece

We’ve earlier seen some interesting concept watches by French designer Fabien Cacheux, including the SLS-inspired Silver Arrow Concept watch and the Bugatti Galibier GT concept watch. Lately, the designer, following a good response from watch collectors, launched his own watch brand Cacheux Haute-Horlogerie to manufacture timepieces. The first offering from the house was the Elephant Automatic, available in a limited run of 11 pieces. The latest from the watch manufacturer is the Elephant Tourbillon timepiece (n°01/01), which has been designed and conceived in France. Only one unit of the ultimate Cacheux timepiece will be on sale throughout the world.

Since the manufacturing, the assembly and the finish are made in Switzerland, so the Elephant Tourbillon watch bears the “Swiss Made” inscription lettering engraved on the bottom of the watch. A Maître-Horloger checks each moment step of the birth of the watch with meticulous care. The n°01/01 has a 42mm diameter case and a thickness of only 11 mm. This automatic timepiece in white, pink or 18-carat yellow gold is delivered in its precious wooden case, with an expected delivery time of between three and four months.

No word on pricing, but we can expect it to cost some good bucks owing to its exclusivity. Cacheux Haute-Horlogerie is working on yet another project, which will be unveiled next month.
