Bijan Pakzad, the well-known US-based Iranian designer of menswear and fragrances, who has dressed up some of the world’s most powerful men, including Barack Obama, Tom Cruise, Russia President Vladimir Putin, Paul Allen and Giorgio Armani, has now teamed up with Rolls-Royce to land his sartorial taste to the phantom coupe. The designer is known for its Bijan’s Rodeo Drive Boutique, which is also known as the most expensive store in the world, and can be visited by appointment only. Bijan will customize limited edition of Phantom models costing more than $1 million each, with up to 30 units to be sold to a selected group of VIPs from 20 different countries. Bijan’s specifications will be developed by skilled craftsmen at Rolls-Royce’s production facility in Goodwood, England. The first of the Bijan models will be presented in the spring of 2011.
