A rare consensus has been reached at TG HQ this week. This has only happened once before in 2010, when discussing the new Ford Mondeo. Even the quiet bloke in the corner who’s only into pre-1950s classic car racing and doesn’t talk to anyone just nodded briefly. This year’s F1 has been brilliant. Bernard turned 80 and called some people names, Schumacher and Massa returned, McLaren had a good car again, the safety car was totally cool, and Vettel nabbed a deserved debut title from Alonso. Then cried.
