Meet Aston’s uprated Vantage racer. The car is based on the V8 Vantage, but features a remapped 4.7-litre V8 engine which has more power and torque than the current racing model.
The new racer also features an aero kit inspired by the V12 Vantage road car, with a new splitter at the front, larger boot spoiler from the V12, and new carbon fibre diffuser and rear underfloor which all help increase downforce.
Aston has also introduced a race-developed Bosch ABS and traction control system which has been specially developed by Bosch to provide decent performance in both wet and dry conditions.
The firm has sold more than 80 Vantage GT4s to customers around the world in the last two years and it has become the most successful car in its class. In 2010, it won the European GT4 Cup as well as the GT4 class at the Dubai 24 Hours, the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the Spa 24 hours.
