Artists are bestowed with the imagination to turn anything worthless into a fascinating peace of art. Designers from Bokja design have proved it yet again. Bokja has found this Volkswagen Beetle in dilapidated condition, wrapped it entirely in a patchwork of handmade vintage fabrics from the Mideast, tapestries and car stickers, thus making it an amazing peace of art and finally put it on show at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during Milan design week 2010. Dubbed as Bojka Design, the resurrected VW was put on eBay for sale from 14th-20th April, 2010. The art VW Beetle found its lover for €1,004 that will be donated to the children affected by Haiti earthquake. Unfortunately, there is no info available whether it is merely a piece of art or can run, but keeping in mind the low final bid, we wonder if it could.
