Yacht-themed makeover for legendary off-roader includes glitzy new paint job.
Could this be the ultimate marina accessory? This is the Land Rover Defender after being treated to a makeover from German tuner Startech.
Painted bright white, the exterior also features 16-inch alloys, running boards with integrated lights, body-colour headlight surrounds and the grille from the SVX special edition.
On the inside, the Defender has been treated to Recaro sports seats upholstered in navy blue leather and Alcantara, while the footwells and boot are trimmed in oiled teak, just like a boat. The headliner is made from Alcantara dyed the same colour as the leather.
The firm has also added a sports steering wheel, and top-spec hi-fi calibrated specifically for the Defender. There aren't any upgrades to the Defender's oily bits, but chances are the price will still be in the "if you have to ask..." bracket.
